InflaScore ("we", "us", or "the App") is an anti-inflammatory lifestyle tracking application for iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

InflaScore is designed as a local-first application. All personal data you enter is stored exclusively on your device. The types of information you may provide include:

  • Lifestyle records: meals and dietary choices, sleep duration and quality, physical activity, stress levels, supplement intake, and hydration data.
  • Profile information (optional): display name, avatar, age, biological sex, height, and weight.
  • App preferences: reminder settings, notification preferences, and display options.

We do not require account creation, login, or any form of user registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact information through the App itself.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely within the App for the following purposes:

  • Calculating your daily anti-inflammatory lifestyle score.
  • Displaying daily summaries, trends, and historical charts.
  • Enabling app features such as reminders and personalized settings.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any purpose beyond the core functionality of the App.

3. On-Device Storage

All your records are stored locally on your iOS device. Key points:

  • Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
  • We do not operate any cloud servers, databases, or backend infrastructure that stores your personal health logs.
  • If you use iCloud Backup, your app data may be included in your device's encrypted iCloud backup as part of Apple's standard backup process. This is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
  • Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data. This action cannot be undone.

4. Third-Party Services

InflaScore integrates the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts: The InflaScore website uses Google Fonts for typography. When you visit the website, your browser may request font files from Google's servers. This is subject to Google's privacy policy. The iOS app itself does not use Google Fonts or connect to any external font service.

The App does not integrate any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or social media trackers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Since all data is stored locally on your device, we have no access to your lifestyle records, scores, or profile information.

6. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. You may delete individual records or all data at any time through the App's interface. When you uninstall InflaScore, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Because your data is stored locally, you maintain full control at all times:

  • Access: You can view all your data directly within the App at any time.
  • Correction: You can edit or update any record through the App's interface.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual entries, clear all data, or simply uninstall the App to remove everything.
  • Export: If the App provides export functionality, you may export your data in a standard format.
  • Notifications: You can enable or disable reminder notifications at any time through the App or iOS Settings.

For users in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, many provisions of these regulations do not apply. However, we fully respect the spirit of these laws and are committed to data minimization and user control.

8. Children's Privacy

InflaScore is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of InflaScore after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
